There are a lot of things to do that past the time and with the invention of the Internet the list has only increased faster then Mores law. Here something very interesting, how to hunt for security web cams using google search phrases. Yes, you can be looking in on SECURE locations or just staring at empty parking lots. Its very amusing.
The site: http://johnbokma.com/mexit/2005/01/09/security-webcam-hunting.html
Explains the concepts, but broken down its simple each Internet based web cam manufacture has different protocols in the URL. So, if you know what these are, then you can place them into google and pretty much find a traffic circle in France.
Take a look at the page, and if I combined this with some other google search tips - like site:edu which would be looking only at Universities. then I could search for cameras on campuses who haven't secured them, not to mention move some of them.

This one is in Japanese or something and is of a street - http://220.106.149.49:60001/ViewerFrame?Mode=Motion&Resolution=640x480&Q.... So it's amazing of what you can find going through and doing a web cam security surfing. These people should be securing down this software, since I can also move, zoom in and out these cameras.
